Ok...since the fall season is now here I will share what WAS my favorite fall ride to get ready for cross season...
Waterline road up to the springs above Lockett Meadow...no vehicular traffic...just a service road for the pumping station up there...
Unfortunately it was ground zero for the shultz fire and the rains have washed out the road...that and all those aspens are now toast...
I wish I could say I would be able to ride it again in my lifetime but probably not...

Here is my '99 Gary Fisher Kaitai. Still my primary MTB and mostly stock except for tires and pedals. I have a more "modern" riser bar/stem to go on it just havent done it yet. This is Rothrock State Forest in PA.

I don't have a copy of the image but this was from a night ride two nights ago when the auroras kicked up. Luckily I was riding with a professional photographer who siezed the opportunity to shoot it.

Headed into the trail. Tried to be smooth like you and let go of the handle bar, then it started to get steep, and had to use both hands. LOL

Rebuilt my 07 Soul Cycle Titan 2.0 bike. This bike has been plagued by cheap SOB syndrome for years but I finally went through and gave it the attention it needed. Rides AMAZINGLY. Still adjusting the tire pressures how I want them.

Of course now I want a set of road tires for it just for general cruising. Its that much fun.

Looks amazing.. i want to mtb in Mexico!! Efuentes, mis papas son de Guamuchil, pero todos mis primos aya, son una bola de flojos jaja.

My inlaws are in the Phoenix area, need to go w/more time AND MY BIKE next time...
