Since I'm about to send in my deposit to fiberine....I have a favor/question. Can you please tell me the interior height at the rear axle?
I want to get started on the planning/fab of the bed platform etc. and have to figure out how big of a "garage" I can reasonably accommodate. Thanks!

Last update 2018! Whoa!!!!
Well there's a reason for that I guess. Spring of 2018 we sold our previous home. Which of course means I lost 100's of hours, 1000's of dollars and worst of all my shop space......
Later that year we built a new home but as of yet I have not built a new shop. So really until covidcation this year I haven't done much other then use the van.
But a couple of things have happened.
I built a roof rack. Not super happy about how it looks. But my design criteria demanded a minimal amount of welding do to the above mentioned no shop issue.
New rack meant I could wire up a 160W solar panel. That's cool to not have to worry about running the battery dry with the fridge any more.
Also installed a Tern side window
Sweet. It sort distorted the curve of the sheet metal. Oh well worth it for some more ventilation.
I also caved in an installed a heater. I may regret this decision but I went with one of the cheap Chinese copies of a German diesel heater. So far in testing it works perfect. Only time will tell if it was a mistake or not. I should probably get a CO detector ?
That's all for now I guess. Can't wait for the world to get back to some type of normal so I can hit the road again for a bit.

Well it looks like the time has finally come to part ways with my van. It's not ready to go just yet but I would like to hear what y'all think would be a fair price in today's market?
2010 GMC Savana 1500 AWD
210k miles
Fresh rebuilt transmission and around 10k worth of maintenance work done in the last year. Should be good to go for awhile.
Fiberine high top roof, diy interior is better than most but not pro level, 3" lift kit, oversized AT tires, roof rack, awning, simple solar system with 200ah battery, nocold fridge, simple water system with outdoor shower, built in storage and bed platform. Body is still in amazing condition given the age and miles but there are a couple of spots of rust just started to bubble through.
Lots more but that's the down and dirty.
It's going to need to find the right buyer for sure and I'd be willing to help modify, add, remove whatever to make fit the new owners.
So anyhow what should I be asking for it when I get it all cleaned up and ready to go?

During the peak of van mania I got some ridiculous offers on mine, which is very similar to yours. Had someone offer me $25k at a gas station in SW Utah about a year ago, but I think that reality is setting in. These vans are hard to price because they are an oddity (AWD 1/2 ton), within a niche market (sub-six figure camper vans), inside a segment (Offroad camper vans) inside a possibly slowing boom (Van life/overlanding).
My gut is somewhere in the $15-$20k range...if you have the time start high and see what happens.
Question for you...what size C-channel did you use to trim out around where the old roof meets new? I like that solution better that the plywood based trim that I have been thinking of doing.

Thanks. I agree with your valuation, that is kinda what I had in mind. But it's always nice to bounce it around.
Honestly I'm torn. If I sell it for $15k I don't know what I would buy that would be half way as useful. But I also don't need two fully built camper rigs that get sub 15mpg parked in the yard.
The aluminum channel is 2x2x1/4". The roof is curved so it had to be persuaded into position along the sides. And I did eventually trim it out with a plywood "cap" that covered the top of the aluminum and bridged over the fiberglass flange of the roof.
