The Jolly Green Giant...aka the Recycled Rig

I wrote that with tongue-in-cheek, because of the above posts. There's nothing I want to replace it with right now. Besides, I'm really looking forward to getting it back from LC with the new work done to it.

I will let 24HRS give you the details as it's his rig and he now has a new iMac computer so maybe he can be on the Portal more often :) Let me just say he/we had a little mechanical mishap on the way to the '07 ExPo Trophy and the Cruiser is in the process of being repaired and will be better than before. I think the build will resume in a few weeks.

I blew my head gasket about thirty miles from the 07 Expo Trophy (I should have known better than to try and past Redline and his V8 up that Matterhorn sized hill).

The 80 is still at L.C. Engineering. It should be buttoned up soon...I hope. I've got some neat things waiting for it when it comes home such as steel 70 series wheels from Japan and a Long Ranger aux. fuel tank. (Thanks Britton). In the meantime, I'm just lurking about and driving my Hj45 when I need to.

It's a sickness with no cure. If it makes you feel better, I went and looked at a 60 series on friday that has a smoked motor for 1500.00 obo. So, the guys with the 80's are looking at 60's and the guys with the 60's are looking at the 80's.

Haha... Well, I feel better now! They are both great vehicles...I like the simplicity and toughness of the 60, and I like the refinement and styling of the 80.

16 Years on ExPo. Whoa!!
Somehow I missed this thread, good luck with all of that Jereme! I hear those guys do great work with the 22REs and such so sounds like it should work out well. Keep us posted!
