I ran into an old buddy from high school this week.... He was the "weirdo" that wore combat boots and a mohawk, and had a bullring in his nose. I like uniqueness, and I hate stereotypes, so I always got along with those kind of people. Anyway, turns out he's a hell of a fabricator nowadays. He builds choppers, does ornamental iron, and basically anything else involving metal, he does...
Long story short, he needs some marketing to get his name out. Well, that's what I do for a living... We are going to try to work out a deal where he does some tubing work for me (cage, bumpers/sliders) and I'll create some video(s) for his website. He lives a couple hours from me, in Nashville, so we can't do anything until the Lunchbox is up and running and I can take it to him.
I'll spend a weekend or two shooting video, and another couple weeks worth of editing in my spare time. In return, he'll bend-up some bumpers/sliders/and a cage for the Lunchbox. We both get what we need, and save a few thousand dollars in the process . I LOVE the barter system! Hopefully we can get together on this and make it happen next month....
