The never ending hobby build

I bought this little guy off craigslist a couple years ago. I have been slowly building it into exactly what I want/need.

Currently I have on-board power, on-demand water (waiting on water tanks to complete system), RTT, etc.

Future plans: Propane, Hot Water, Under Frame Lighting, Paint.

Pictures in order from oldest to newest.

Day I picked up the trailer:

New Shoes:

Post 2" lift:

Added lights inside the lid:

Added bike rack and packed up for the maiden voyage to Moab, UT:

Whoops! Tail light popped out:

White Rim Trail:

A bolt on the spring hanger fell out (nut backed off):

I found the bolt... The nut forever belongs to the desert.

I thought it didn't rain in the desert!

RTT installed:

I picked up a tongue box from Harbor Freight. I moved the batter to the tongue box and installed water pump:

Quick Disconnect:

Running Water!

Nice trailer, very well planned out. It's gotta be nice having running water!

Thank you... I wish I could say it was all planned out. But the reality is, a lot of it has been trial and error.
I am extremely excited to have running water (albeit, still waiting on my tanks).

I have 2 tanks to fit under the trailer... One in front and one in rear of the axle (yes, I will still be weight biased to the tongue).

If money was no object, I'd convert to a Timbren axle less suspension... But this will work fine and still provide 16 gallons of potable water.

Lots of my "ideas" have been sourced from this forum.

I'd hate to know how much time I've actually spent on this forum looking at all the builds on here.

I couldn't have got this far without this site.

Pardon my ignorance, but what did it start out as? It looks like some sort of contractor trailer or something...

I have no idea.
I wish I would have got additional info from the previous owner... But I didn't think about it too much the day I bought it (as I was too excited to get it home, and get to work).

I'd love to know if anyone has an idea.

My guess is some sort of box (possibly for storage or shipping) that he welded to a tongue and added spring hangers.

FYI, I believe the original color (or at least color at one time) is a light blue... Comparable to Maresk blue (container freight ships).
I believe this to be true because under the current gray color (where I have started doing body work) is light blue, with a layer of redish primer under that.
