Pliny the Elder from Russian River. Can be hard to get at times but is the best beer I've ever tasted.

Oscar Blues makes a great assortment of beer in cans, all of which are outstanding.

Just had an Oscar Blues Dale's Pale Ale. Good stuff.

I've got too many favs. to list, but just a few that pop into my mind:

- Nearly anything by Deschutes Brewing
- Most beer by Widmer Brewing
- Avery Hog Heaven Barley Wine
- Avery New World Porter
- Cascade Summer Gose
- Ninkasi Tricerahops
- New Old Lompoc C-Note

Yes, beer is one of my hobbies, as is homebrewing.

When I drank alcohol, there was only one beer that I'd ever drink, and that was Directors.

So called because it originated as a specially brewed beer, made only for the Board of Directors of the Courage Brewery.

I loved the rich, hops aroma and taste, and the lovely malty aftertaste on the palette... Gorgeous!

As distinctive a taste as the very first pint I had as a youngster at the Lamb and Flag pub in Covent Garden, London.

A couple weeks ago I went to Mick Duffs brew pub in Sandpoint ID and am now hooked. Good food, good beer. So far I've filled growlers with their Wheat Whale Ale and Bogtrotter red ale, and also had a couple pints of their Lake Paddler pale ale.

From Scotland to Canada with love.

Only 106 barrels were produced, and let me tell ya, beer doesn't get any better than this.

That is too funny...I have been drinking I/G for the past several weeks.
I also prefer the Scottish vs. the Rum barrel flavor...good stuff!

Didn't know that about only 106 bbl...is it gone after that?
I'd better stock up!

There was only 106 of the Limited Edition Canada Day special produced. It's a little different from their regular oak aged. What's really remarkable is that they were able to get a creamy head on it with an alcohol content at 8.3%.

Edit: Here's a link to some info on this special brew.

I think I've found a new favorite brew: Cold Smoke by Kettlehouse Brewery out of Missoula. Right now I'm enjoying (a little too much) the Pale Ale by Laughing Dog out of Sandpoint ID.
