I have a similar Canadian truck camper, a 1993 Travellaire fiberglass camper. I did the same thing, gutted 100% of the interior and rebuilt.

I glued in a window, cleaned it a bit... Ive been pretty busy. If i had to do it again, i wouldnt have removed the foam. Part of the shell is sagging where the damage occured.

thanks. I wasn't sure if it was a Colorado or 1500.
How tall is the platform that you used to raise the 8'4 to clear the cab? 6 inches?

Yeah approximately 6". It's the trail boss model which is a bit higher too, so I have to add some blocks under the jacks :D

I removed the front tie down points. So I could probably get away with 4"... I also considered going with the "decked" system for added storage.
