We have finally made it home and have some great stories to remember the trip by. All-in-all the adventure went down as a pretty successful endeavor. I'll add more to this story later but here is the gist of it:

Objective: to explore the east coast with the family and visit family along the way
Duration: 3 weeks
Distance Traveled: 3,221.2 miles
Locations visited: Cape May, Outer Banks (all of it!), Myrtle Beach, Orlando (Disney that is), Atlanta, Biltmore Estate and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

I have attached a link to just a few of the 2,000+ photos we took. However the image below I think is one of my favorites!

I'll post more as time allows. It was a great adventure and we had so many great...and not so many great moments to remember and share!

Welcome home, looking forward to the trip report, especially the Outer Banks portion. Did you enjoy Cape May? We are headed there this weekend.:coffeedrink:

To be quite honest, Cape May really wasn't our cup of tea. It is very quaint and nicely done. I didn't like the parking meters at the beach and having to pay for a beach pass.

The flag ceremony at Sunset beach was nice. We did that the two evenings we were there.

I have a bunch of stuff written on our blog. **Link is below**. But for this forum, I'll be adding more information inclusive of the Jeep and a few other items such as ferry crossing and such.

I agree we get bored there as well, it's nice for a quick stop like you guys did, but spending an extended period of time there gets old. We are going down on our way to MD and than stopping again on our way back from MD! Kinda like a pitstop!
