Thanks for taking the time to write that all up, I appreciate it.

That Morrison trail looks interesting (as do the others), I'm putting it on The List.

How fast were you going.

How fast were you going when ur ball joint went. From the looks of that rim you were going pretty fast. Or am I wrong. That thing was mashed up. Still gotta say loved how you got it back on the trail. And the trip was beautiful Very nice. And good to have buds like that. Priceless !

Thanks man.

For this one I think it was 20-30mph..probably around 20-25 really. Wasn't really watching. Granted just a few mile earlier I was really thrashing it and going 30-45 or faster on some of the smoother sections so glad it happened when it did. Was much faster then the first time I did it.

Still scares the **** out of you. It's like you do a wheelie and then crash down on to nothing haha

I've been lurking on the forum for a couple weeks and figured it was about time I got around to saying THANKS to the people whose adventures I've enjoyed reading through thus far... which includes you/yours, I've read through your thread twice now and appreciate you sharing your wonderful story! :smiley_drive:

Mpg? Horrible..haha I don't even bother tracking it anymore horrible. Before I went to 35s and 5.29 gears it was like 8-10 city and 12-15 hwy and 4-8 offroad. I think it's about the same...

Specs stock was just a base tacoma. 31x10.5r15 with 4.10s. Got 19-22 hwy and 15-18 city.

Well I'm stock for its what I'm looking for! Lol. My jeep got around the same so I was just wondering if a Tacoma would be a nice switch up.

Well ben still gets good mpgs. But he has only sliders and is on 32s. Nothing can save you from the weight gain of armor and turning bigger tires really.

Worth it
