I laid it down. But, I did take it out on some mountain trails and creek crossings and thankfully didn't drop it in a creek! Yeah, my 1st Gen KLR is notably lower the this T7.Did you lay it down to test or was that not intentional?
I sat on a KLR and Tenere back to back when I was bike shopping. I personally found the Tenere quite a bit taller.
