You never know what you may find, and I've gotten lots of ideas for things by poking around 'yards and seeing different rigs and the engineering they used.

Post up your favorite Toyota Junkyards (or any who have some Toyotas) for other members to see and maybe visit.

Trucks, Land Cruisers, 4Runners etc.

hello all,

as a former west-coast resident now living in the rust belt, i am currently attempting to recover from california junkyard withdrawal

i haven't located much in the way of pick-your-part type junkyards out here (definitely my favorite approach) but i did locate this 'chain' which seems to have toyotas every now and then (at least the ones around here):

they're not too big and the imports section is fairly small but their online data seems to be fairly accurate. prices are reasonable as well.

for the standard fare junkyard, i found this interface which helps in prices/distances when comparing (registered) junkyards:

I used to work just down the road from that lot. Even when driving my 75 series by the lot, I'd always be staring at the 40's in there.
