agreed on the EQ! i also switched to a Sony BM10 BT adapter, from the Kinivo BTC450 and i can actually hear an improvement in the fullness of the sound. i think the Sony has a higher quality DAC in it and also seem to put out a stronger line out as the volume increased just by changing the adapter.

i got the sub amp in, so i now have everything except the custom sub enclosure and final tweaking of all the knobs done. oh, and some sound deadening/dampening still needs to be done too.

i bought an app called simply AudioTool that can generate tones, sweeps, pink noise, etc. - as well as act as a spectrum analyzer and SPL meter. i got an inexpensive calibrated mic to use with it, the Dayton Audio iMM-6 (AudioTool can load it's calibration profile easily). i'll use this to help me dial in the new system.

Great idea with the quick releasing rear seat bottoms. I was always unbolting them on my old WJ and now on my Tacoma, but I'm going to find a way to copy how you have yours setup. And great build by the way.

thanks, yeah that mod was one of the early ones, and still gets used constantly on big trips to make more space.

thanks to Kaspily for this pic at Ajax Mine (near Florence, AZ) this weekend. Offroad Passport had an easy run with some time spent rockhounding at an old Amethyst mine...
