Cutting the center section to recess the winch is a great idea. Most bumper kill the approach angle. My ARB is terrible for that.

I have the same equalizer in my console paired with a bluetooth adapter. No head unit since my last two were stolen and I'm tired of replacing windows and fixing holes in the doors. The sound quality is much better with the equalizer instead of just the BT adapter to the amps.

agreed on the EQ! i also switched to a Sony BM10 BT adapter, from the Kinivo BTC450 and i can actually hear an improvement in the fullness of the sound. i think the Sony has a higher quality DAC in it and also seem to put out a stronger line out as the volume increased just by changing the adapter.

i got the sub amp in, so i now have everything except the custom sub enclosure and final tweaking of all the knobs done. oh, and some sound deadening/dampening still needs to be done too.

i bought an app called simply AudioTool that can generate tones, sweeps, pink noise, etc. - as well as act as a spectrum analyzer and SPL meter. i got an inexpensive calibrated mic to use with it, the Dayton Audio iMM-6 (AudioTool can load it's calibration profile easily). i'll use this to help me dial in the new system.
