I'd love a sportsmobile top with the penthouse bed, but I don't have the budget for it. I'd still keep a trailer too. I don't want to spend every night in the van, but I do want to be able to leave the trailer for a few days at a time.

What are your thoughts, if any on an intercooler. With as much as you've done with making room, do you think there is any room to stuff one and plumb it?

If I'm not mistaken they made room for one on the 6.0 models with the same body style, so I believe there is hope.

Wow! That's a creative solution. Plumbing madness!

An intercooler would be great, I definitely want one. I scratched my head on it for awhile and didn't see a simple install. It came down to a profit/loss calculation: EGT's are fine, power/torque are fine, vs. the plumbing and added complexity.

The sliding pop top is giving me enough headaches...

^^ Fairly commonplace in mud trucks and some dusty/desert applications for obvious reasons.

The UTV manufacturers should be doing it for sure, maybe under a seat base or in the dash where it's protected. Side air intakes at waist level do nothing but suck in all the dust from the guy in front of you.

If you've already answered this in an earlier post forgive me, but what is the intent of the sliding portion of the top?

I thought I might check out a 6.0 and see if there is a possibility of swapping the core support along with the rad, intercooler, and condenser assembly. With any luck and maybe some electric fans it might work. I'd like to be able to push some bigger numbers through this monster, but know that the lack of cool air will be the limiting factor.

Picnics, bbq's, and fresh air with a view. What else?
