Looks neat. I'm really surprised you haven't had issues with those right side vents sucking water though. You might want to look at some of the marine or RV catalogs and find some that open on the bottom instead of like the household vents. The ones on our ambulances at work look like louvered steel and a pretty durable.

Cheers and thanks. The box is going on a Mog this fall. I plan on finally building a pivoting hard sided roof w/penthouse and more windows so I will be in touch. I knew that the windows had to be available at a cheaper price but didn;t have the time to dig. Love your work btw-

Indeed they are temporary. I foolishly had the cavity vented to the interior on the first trip and learned the hard way that was stupid. The vents on it now were a 60min fix to get me safely on to the next trip. A more durable solution is in order.

Whole Ute for sale-

Well, the mog transition is in gear and moving forward. Plans have also changed and I will be getting or building a new box.

Wait, what? Huh?

The Ute is SOLD.

A cool local couple has picked up the Ute and pledged to take it on to the next level. Hopefully they'll keep us posted with it's progress. They want to do a pop-top and some of the other mods I had planned so I'll be checking in and feed any progress back either way.

Nice ambulance, I came across this thread looking up info for mine :sombrero:
Iam kinda doing the same thing, as I will be. My ambulance has been a hit at off road parks when i go 4wheeling and fits 2 atvs in the back. I will have pictures soon. I would remove the red lights from yours and replace with amber, as with the strobes on the side fenders. replace with amber or white lenses, then you wont get hassled! the ambulance is the perfect camper, atv transport. nice insulated walls and doesnt take much to keep heated during winter! love it! take care Ill post pics of mine. can we see the switch console on the dash? :bike_rider:
