I'm pretty much hooked for life on this thing, it has everything in a car...ever. My only problem now is storage space transferring from a fullsize truck to a SUV, car, thing.

Yeah, that's why I bought my Trooper. Gotta have 4-doors and more cargo space. I lived with just my VX for 4 years, and made due, but having more space is very nice.

Remove the rear seats, if you don't use them, make a lot more room back there.

yeah I need those back seats for people every once in a while. I found a nice way to keep my stuff situated but on long hauls they will have to come out, a nice feature of the VX.

Man that is nice.

I am kind of torn on how to do the storage on my truck right now, I have been wanting under bed boxes, but I also want big fuel tanks, I can either run a 36"x18" fuel tank, or 36x18x18 boxes. The tank will be 38 gallons usable, which with the pair would be 76 gallons, @ 17mpg that would give me about 1200 miles of range before I had to get fuel.

I have thought about putting ammo cans behind the seat, but then when ever I need a tool id be digging behind the seat for it.

Been looking at designs I can fit between the frame rails for tanks because I think saddle boxes with some nice containers in em on drawer slides would be too cool.

as far as fuel goes extra tanks seem to be a pain in the a** so I just go the Jerry can route, I really like having something light and fat for where I'm at and the short wheelbase helps out on small fire roads. Ammo cans are the best, try some websites and you can get the weird sizes or huge ones for warheads which I think would be awesome storage

I had been thinking about putting the bed off a M101A3 on my truck for a box, but that would be a little too military for me. I've done my time! :sombrero:

And now that im thinking about it, ammo cans will work awesome in my 51 willys as well which is the rig ill be using on the trails and to get out into the BFE

my only problem with ammo cans is that they are so convenient to stack and its hard to get stuff out of there sometimes

Hi Guys,

Im hoping some one may be able to help me with this request.

One of my clients has a Vehicross & is trying to get a part number for the electric window motor on both sides of the truck, or were one could be purchased from in the USA.
Vert few of these great Isuzu's in Australia & even fewer no anything about the parts.

Thanks for the help.

Cheers
David

Love the vx's. Mine is green, and THANK GOD came with the black and gray, not the black and red seats and dash.

for the window motors, try running these thru google,
brand: a1cardone part number: a147-4320 and 4321, only part number i could find, never heard of the brand thou, and did not see any specific vendor.

Congrats on a special find! If you take care of that and don't screw it up you can put a 100K on it and still make money, or drive it forever and have a very cool ride. Thereare some vehicles that are a sin to modify very much, that's one of them. Look at a 52 Willys wagon for example, one that is in stock and restored is worth alot more than any made as a rock crawler.

I have looked at probably a hundred, bid on some on Ebay but never won. I found the only white one made (that is not an Iron Man) and the guy is driving it as a daily driver, it's one of a kind!

It's my GF's favorite vehicle, she saw one here in town and chased the guy down to see it. He let her drive it.....I wish he hadn't done that....lol :smiley_drive:
