Just got done reading through this whole thread and thought it needed revived. I've always relied on the cheapest Casio I can find, mainly because I'm so abusive to watches. I haven't worn a watch sine I left the USAF two years ago, but since I'm about to finish my college degree, I thought its about time to start wearing a watch again. I don't need something super tough or super disposable. (I still have several of those casios with
broken bands to use up) I'd just like a nice work watch so I don't have to keep pulling out my phone.
This is one that caught my eye. They only thing I don't like is the rubber wrist band as I do have a preference for cloth bands, but I think I can get over that. The only bad reviews I've seen on it have to do with its water resistivity. I guess most people would assume that a watch that's rated as "water resistant to 30 M" wouldn't have a problem with getting wat, but apparently it does. Is that normal?
