They were good, with very little prompting they are redoing the whole order. They are going to double box with more reinforced edges.
Hope it works out this time, I am pretty hosed without it.

Can you slide in a picture of the sailboat...I'll shield you from the angry subscribers, after all it's a camper on water...

Sorry it took so long to reply. It's nothing fancy, just a '94 MacGregor 26S with a 4-stroke Murcury 9.9hp. Good little boat for lake sailing with the family.

Is there a post somewhere with details on the trailer Beamer Pilot?

No I put it together myself, can't call it a build since I assembled the boxes on an aluminum trailer and changed the axle to a 6000 lbs. one to accommodate the tires from my old Chevy stepside.
A local welder/buddy made the fenders.

Scoutman, I don't have any pics on this computer. I love the ability to slide off the foot of the bed without waking up the wife. Second summer with it and still upgrading based on this thread.

Today for our new (1980) Grandby, Went to the salvage yard and found a second battery tray, 25 bucks, and all the hardware from 01 Cummins and installed the start of the second (house?) battery system. Cannibalized the battery from the dune buggy and hard wired the camper to the truck. Replaced the original plug ins and fuse panel in the original location inside the camper and got the lights working ect. Can now try to see of the furnace works, maybe later tonight after it cools down.

Right now the second battery is completely stand alone, and will need to be charged every so often, but its a start.

Saturday I spotted a steel plate computer/analyzer mount labelled for trash, I asked around just to make sure it wasn't going to another department or anything...

Here is what I came up with for my re-use:

It had never been used, the nuts still had paint in the threads. It's a little bit heavy, but it shouldn't matter as I won't need to take it out often-just flip it up. Free is good!

Tommorow ill fashion up 2 remove able leg/stabilizers for it.
