There is just something totally cool about Olive Drab and black.

I ran Raingler nets on my TJ to keep my pups safely in the Jeep for years.

Finally got around to getting a set for the JK. It's 7 degrees out here and snowing, so I only installed part of the stuff I got.

Debated on the Olive Drab set up but loved it as soon as I saw it. Took a couple of quick pics. (it was dark and cold, so more real pics will follow later)

Step 1:

Unpack it and toss it all over the kitchen.

Step 2:

Capture the wolf in the living room. (he slept through all my harassment)

Step 3:

Check the Molle door cards for size against various....uh....random items laying around the house.

Step 4:

Install nets, then install dogs and test.

Leather seats are now safe from muddy paws.....bwahahahahaah!

After having Raingler nets on my TJ for many years as well.

Last weekend my GSD/Akita mix ate through them while locked in the Jeep :).

Granted, she was trying to get to the water bottles in the front seat, she was locked in there mostly alone for 30 minutes, and we were @ a her first SAR dog training.. so I guess she was feeling left out :)

Mine won't actually hop out. I just feel better with the nets in there. Very nice to clip gear too also. Easy to keep things secure to the side of the Jeep so that it does not roll around on the dogs.

Also nice to keep the wet muddy pups in the back after the dog park.

This was the set up on the TJ.

I have a flare for dramatic driving so it is nice to know the pups can'r bail out where they shouldn't. There is a pup in the back in this picture. (and those are 37s for reference on the height of everything)

The color looks real good on the Jeep BTW.

Got to wondering this weekend if Raingler was still around. Guessing you answered my question without the pain of a google search :) (for a guy that can see the googleplex from his desk that's a lot of pain )

Great write-up

I purchased a Raingler cargo net for my roof rack a little over a month ago and have nothing to say but - awesome. I conversed with the company on what I wanted, and they suggested that I go with one of their custom nets. After some measurements and payment sent, the net arrived in a few weeks and I couldn't be happier. Just my input.

So today I toss the dogs in the back of the Jeep today to go pick up a new bumper. 10 minutes down thee highway and the Austrailian Shepard casually comes over and lays down in the passenger seat!! DOH!!

There is a small gap at the side of the rear seat he figured out how to exploit.

Smart dogs are all fun and games until they start outsmarting you aren't they?

Jeep came with the heated leather seats new from the dealer. They are Katskin leather. You can buy a custom reupholstrey kit from Katskin and reskin your seats for pretty reasonable.
