Not a bad place to be.

Any time you want me to show you around down here, just let me know.

Have fun up there.

I will be making every effort to make this...
I will be one at the back of the group "eating dust":bike_rider:

One question...does one need a roll chart/roadbook device?

Isn't absolutely necessary, can use a GPS track log. That or find a buddy to ride with.

This will be big bike friendly with harder options for the more experience guys, but over-all it will be a more of a scenic ride, than anything. Just ride your own pace and enjoy the scenery. Plenty of bailouts to pavement too.

What if it rains and there is no dust?

Many nice areas to ride down there. I grew up there and can't go back.

Didn't some smart alek ask "What if it rains and there is no dust?".

Blame him for not having dust for the first annual There Will Be Dust Ride.

Wish I could make it down there. Have fun!

It would be very nice if it rained, we did a final clean GPS track two weekends ago, it is mucho dusty out there right now...silt in some places. The Border Patrol runs that area pretty hard.

If this goes well, we plan on making it an annual event. It is looking like we will have 30 riders or so...which is pretty good to me for a first time event.

Sorry you can't make it, maybe next year, and thank you!

Awesome! They are saying the heaviest of the rain is coming tonight, and through Friday...20-30% chance on Sunday. Looks like it is going to be perfect conditions.

We will see how close the weather forecasters are. I have bud coming in from LA, said they had one hell of a rainstorm last night.
