Squall Line
Observer
Hello all,
I have been extremely happy with this truck, but I think it is time for me to get a 1 ton diesel (had one that I sold due to a lack of need, but I keep going back to wanting one and I am looking for a 21-25' boat that would require it..) I have no idea how to price this, since it is purpose built for off road/ traveling use.
Here is the build thread
http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/19929-Squall-Line-s-Frontier-build/page2
Since that thread, I have added a SLR db lift up front. The radflos were retained, and I used a set of calmini spacers to make up the difference. It rides so well that I did not find a reason to change them, but I had planned on moving up to some extended 2.5" Radflos or Kings.
I also added some BFG 35" KM2 MTs that literally have less than 700 miles on them. I bought a econo box commuter and have only been using the frontier for hauling toys and one mild trail trip.
Is it best to offer as a package with tent/ rack / fridge/ winch/ dual bat/ inverter/ toolbox/ cb/ lightforces etc, or try to recap those separately?
I would love to keep the 35's for the truck I have my eye on (96 ram CTD), but that would require buying replacements for these... I could easily re use the inverter and dual bat setup as well as the winch.
Stats:
06 King cab lb with utilitrack
~53k miles
6 speed manual
Grey on Grey
Here is the bad:
Pin-striping from brush
May need the idler replaced in the next 10k miles (intermittently makes a noise)
A few parking lot dings (never had trail damage). None are over 1" in diameter
Never made a cover for the back wall, so some would consider it incomplete.
Parking break line has a 1/2" section melted due to the exhaust dump (works just fine)
Here are some pictures today. I took the swing away off for hauling dirtbikes, but still have all of the parts. I appreciate any advice!
