If it was made in the US then it probably would but since it's from South Africa it's just ripstop. I guess if it were from down under it would be out of oilskin or waxed canvas. The US tactical version would have MOLLE and the Overlander version would have a Velcro panel.

When we were in the army we always had a nice toilet to do our business on. It may have only dumped into a hole in the ground but we were civilized.

+1 for paper towels. Extremely useful, unlike TP.

Should have clarified it a bit, it's a bit of geographical advice. If you are in an area prone to goat heads or grass burrs, dont drop and drag.

I've used the field improvised version before: set water bottle in the sun and let it get warm, poke hole in cap, squeeze bottle and ...well... We all know the rest.
