Total vehicle weight: A reality check

For better or worse, I started a spreadsheet (yeah, I am an engineer-sorry) to catalog the weight of all the items I have added and intend to add to my rig. I wanted to get a handle on the total vehicle weight for a number of reasons, not the least of which is suspension choice and weight/power index. I know the OEM weight of the vehicle (3980#) and have reasonably accurate numbers for all of the fixed as well as removable items. I ended up with a fully kitted wet (full fuel and water tanks) weight of 5800#! Adding two people (wife and I) adds another 300#, so we will be tipping the scales at around 6100#.

So, is this close to what some other rigs weigh when heading out for a long (more than a couple of weeks) run?

With just under 200hp and just ove 240 lb-ft in the power department, I am concerned with just how comfortable this setup will be.

Just looking for some thoughts.

Thanks Mario. I tried searching the other night but the site kept giving me "memory allocation" errors. I will read through the other post(s).
