I'll jump in. My modified JKUR did "okay" pulling our 17' Casita all over the place. Not great, but not dangerous either. On pretty much every overpass (even in Florida) it would shift into 3rd and be humming 4000+rpm to maintain 68mph. It got the job done. However after a 2000 mile move from VA to Miami, my wife finally agreed to let me buy an F150 with Ecoboost for towing- what a night and day difference. So much better for the family in everyway. I still pulled the Casita with the Jeep if I was going on an off-road adventure though.
For reference the Jeep is on 37's, 4.88 gears, big brake kit, King shocks, and a brake controller. 3.6L motor and automatic.
We got stationed overseas and had to sell the Casita and F150. When I get back, I'm eyeing the Intech Explore trailer- little smaller, lighter than the Casita and it can carry some toys.
