I know that slab you're parked in front of very well. My buddies ride their bikes up that. Nice setup by the way. What's your cargo and tonque weight combined? I've thought of doing a camper with an enclosed trailer, but that may come later in life after the kids are gone. Currently, we're a family of 5 with a toy hauler.

Very doable. That's how we explored Utah and Colorado for years from Kansas City before we moved out here. Except we flat towed our Sami for about 60k miles. A good HD truck, high quality tie downs, high quality tires, air suspension, towing equipment and routine maintenance and not a single problem in over 10 years. Good luck!

Found a picture of our original Land Yacht BritKLR 001.......This rig took us all over the east coast and gulf coast. The only time I was terrified was driving that beast on the beach, thank goodness I never got it stuck! Fun part was having truck and camper special ordered and built with all the funstuff of the day.

Truck camper towing a Sammy secret: When you accidentally pull into a very small deadend parking lot that you can not turn around in, put the truck in neutral and the Sammy in low and have the Sammy pull it back out by the tow hitch......works like a charm!
