I guess this is back for sale. It was for sale in Boise, ID about 2 months ago and sold the same day it went on craigslist. Not sure why new owner is selling so soon. I might call later and check. Looks like a good set up though.

Wow looks in good condition from picks. I had an 87 5spd (way better than the AT, as they have a 2 speed transfer case)
Sold it with just over 200k on it. If I didn't already have 4 cars, 3 motorcycles and a couple trailers I'd be all over this.:coffeedrink:

Seems like it would be a cost effective rig.

Yep, I too was a day late(or minutes). It only took me an hour after posting my reply, to rationalize buying it. Emailed the seller, but got the reply it was sold. Oh well, at least my S.O. didn't have to deal with another vehicle acquistion. :sombrero:

Hmmm, well, camper shmamper. That isn't a factory camper. Some guy took an afternoon to put together a bed platform and a wood box with a sink in the top of it. And then sold the factory seats on Ebay for 400 dollars. So...

It's all relative. The way that van is set up wouldn't take you much more than a day to do the same thing to another one. And it would be the way you like it. Just sayin'.

I have owned a couple of these. Great little vans. If you find a 5 spd it is a whole different world of power! They are however a bit of a pain to work on, and have been known to overheat and blow headgaskets easier than you would expect for a Toyota 4 cyl. There are a ton of turbo diesel JDM units running around in western Canada! Check Vancouver, Victoria and Calgary craiglist.
Also Tyee Imports and maybe Outback Imports...
