Toyota PTO fair price?

What is a fair price for the whole Toyota PTO package (used of course)?

That's a hard one, since i think i've only ever seen one for sale. It wasn't cheap if i remember correctly.

Usually the ones that Raddcruisers is selling are the ones for the split case and include the "porch" bumper. These were not available in Canada/USA and come off JDM trucks. The ones for $800 are the older ones for the single piece transfer case and were an option in Canada/USA back in the day.

You're gonna want to go with the stronger split case one that Radd Cruisers sells.

Well.....Yes I can.

According to Toyota, the split case PTO gear box will work on 08/80-01/90 so it should fit your 83 with no problems.

The winch head should be the same from a 1983 to 1987. The only issue you may run into is the driveshaft length. I'm sure Mike, the current owner of the PTO assembly can get you some measurements if need be. As of yesterday, the entire PTO assembly was still on the truck so if you need pics, he might be able to get some to you.

Some years of '60's had two "U" joints in the PTO shafts and some had one. No big deal to shorten or lengthen the shaft or remove or add a joint.
