Thanks Doc.
Oh good glad you figured it out, probably sat on the shelf too long at the store. There are some good battery chargers that combat sulfated batteries. Ctek makes a few that have a specific cycle that reconditions batteries, says in the manual specifically takes care of sulfation. I live up in Riverside on your way back if you are still having issues, stop by and I will help you with it.thanks fbksurferjoe. I don't think I will ever truly understand electricity, but I have been learning. I used pretty heavy gauge, quality wire for most everything and every circuit has at least one fuse. I tried to keep it as clean and simple as I could. Spoiler alert... I find out later that my brand new battery was sulphated. This should have been obvious in retrospect, but that's how it goes when you try to learn as you go.
Oh, and thanks for watching. We just released our first episode from Mexico, https://youtu.be/r7IL9FzesE8 where we continue to show how inept we are![]()

One idea, I use a dry bag for kayaking to store my rain fly and awning room. If wet, the bag keeps it all inside till I can dry it when the weather turns!
