Trade F-150 for Tundra - Overland

Trailer is 7400 dry and tongue weight is 928lbs. Caveat- I do use an equalizer hitch but with the equalizer, the F250 had a serious squat. The PW has zero.
I believe the better ride is the coil sprung versus leaf spring-

Was your F250 gas or diesel? How does the Ram 6.4 tow vs the F250? My father currently tows a 27’ AS with a GM 5.3. It’s a dog for that much weight.

F250 was a gasser. I did the math on the diesel and between the premium price, the service price vs. gas service price, and DEF, combined with my short daily commute, it made no sense.
The RAM is a fully loaded with HEMI.

Curious what the OP went with! The Ford certainly wins on features, options, power, towing, and mpg. But the Tundra is a solid truck that feels great towing and lasts longer without major issues than any other 1/2 ton. I guess that’s the upside to keeping the same drivetrain for 13 years.

I am pretty happy with my 2015 Tundra. I am coming up on 130k miles. Besides routine maintenance all I have had to replace is the fuel pump.

The AT Summit has worked out very well for us with many nights slept in it.

I have a hidden Warn 10K winch on the bumper, 3 inch lift with bilsteins, front and rear ARB air lockers, coleman mach air conditioner on top, road shower, and a couple hundred watts of solar. I also have a very nice battery bank for running the engel fridge freezer and an inverter to charge drone batteries when I take on drone jobs.

The only other vehicle I would consider is a Power Wagon.

I sometimes drag around a Gheenoe LT25.
