My 04' DC Tacoma for your 100 series – Only 33k miles!!
I didn't think I'd be doing this for many years to come, but it’s time to sell my Tacoma. Our 4th child was born this summer and we need some more seat belts.

What I’ve got:

2004 Toyota Tacoma 4X Double Cab with only 33k miles!!! with a SALVAGE TITLE – Read on…it’s worth it.
• ARB Front Bumper
• ARB Front Air Locker (E-locker in the rear)
• OME 2 inch lift kit.
• Superwinch X9
• IPF 900S
• Safari Snorkel
• Skid Row Transfer Case Skid Plate
• All-Pro Rock Guard Sliders
• LEER Truck Cap with Thule Track and Bars
• Rhino Lined Bed
• African Outback Drawers (Hilux, said to be the only set in the US)
• INTERCO TrXus MT Mud Terrains
• Arizona Tint!
• Mobile1 Synthetics since 8k miles.

The story with the SALVAGE TITLE… I bought this truck 3 years ago from the guy who restored it. The title report shows the original purchase was made in July of 04’ and the Salvage yard registered it in April of 05’. So somewhere in the ball park of 6-8 months of a nice build before it was salvaged. I have the original pictures from the salvage yard of the Tacoma pre-restoration, and can send those to those serious to deal. The yard classification was “roll-over” with secondary damage to the passenger’s side. If you look at the pictures, the story seems to be that the PO drove it through a pretty tight wedge and at some point leaned the truck into either a tree or rock and dented the roof just by the driver’s door. (therefore labeled a roll over) The driver’s door was replaced and the roof was popped out. You can also see in the salvage yard pics that both passenger doors and rear quarter panels were dented as well. These were all repaired at the same time. No flood damage, no engine damage, no high speed impact. The decision was easy for me; worst case scenario is I need a paint job in a few years. But in the meantime, I have a perfect expedition platform for years to come. I have no concerns about taking this Tacoma anywhere. I’ve attached a few pics out playing, I’ll post more later.

What I’m looking for:

A 1999 100 Series with Rear E-Locker. Modifications are a plus, the lower mileage the better, and I would prefer it to be white or light, but will consider anything that comes my way.
OR
A 2003+ 100 Series. Again, modifications are a plus, the lower mileage the better, and I would prefer it to be white or light. Also I would be most interested in those with the rear airbag options.

Thanks for looking, obviously the price depends a lot on what’s being bartered. At this time I’m not interested in the 2000-2002 models.

This is a pic of the Taco shortly after I got it with another set of Tires and Rims (street tires) that I'll include in the deal if you want them.

There was a guy in the Austin area that had an 80 series and a 100 series that he wanted to trade for a double cab Tacoma. Both of his rigs were very nice, if I recall.

If you want his contact info, PM me. I think he posts on the local Austin forum on 'mud.

(I'm seeing that I should have just redirected instead of duplicating. ;) )

Thanks for the interest and PMs.

At this point I'd sell it outright for $16,000

Truck is in Mesa AZ

Austintaco...PM sent, thanks

Finally got her washed off today and went out for some pics. The light started to get fun when I was about to wrap it up, so the end of the string are mostly fluffy creative pictures. But I figured if you're interested in the truck, you'd probably like to see it in a variety of different situations.

Not that anything is WRONG with them. The 99s are great because they have the rear locker option and rear air. And the 2003s are great because they have the 5 speed automatic transmission and rear airbag options. So I either wanted the 99 as a more dedicated play rig, or a 2003+ that could also serve as the princesses kid hauler.
