Did it get finished, anything need to be changed etc.

Dam thread resurected !

the only thing I changed was to make the rear door open to the side rather than below
as access was restricted to the depths of the trailer.

Also added spare wheel carrier to the rear door at the same time.

trailer works and functions as designed- we completed may trips in Oman and Qatar

Now its with us in Colombia- but the customs people confiscated the wheels and tires

so its presently sat on the ground in the garager not doing very much !

Why would they confiscate the wheels and tires ?
Did they need them for their trailer...

seemingly customs wanted 5 off BFG KM2's and the 3 wheels from the trailer

I asked for a document that described where they were an illegal inport but they were unable to supply that either

basicly they piled up a bunch of gear - left me to sweat for almost 4 weeks than kindly only took the wheels and tires

basicly theft
