Wow, what happened man (if I can ask)? So sorry to hear that. Glad to see your trailer coming along... I want to switch over to electric brakes this spring as well on my CDN M101... just need to retrofit the hand brake after to the new backing plates, somehow. I read there is a pretty simple way, just need to re-locate the web page.

I got around to wiring the electric brakes up, and the brake controller. I did a quick google search and came up with this for a parking brake handle. A bit pricey, but it will save me alot of time.

why not goto a wrecker and pull one out of a compact car? they are usually modular units like that

I thought of that first, but I don't have alot of time is the only reason really. The whole kit is $300, it's very pricey but hook it up and go.
