Weighs around 1500 lbs unloaded. Setup time is under 10 minutes for the tent + awning. It also has full and screen sides for the front awning.
It's really easier than setting up a ground tent. There sales pitch is 2 men 2 poles, 2 minutes but you'd really have to know what your doing

Cool Vid. I wish the would do videos of how long it takes to break camp though. I never seem to mind setting up. It's packing up that I don't like.

That is awesome, but 30k new in AU? wow!
While I haven't tried my RTT yet (don't get it till next month), it's why I'll almost certainly upgrade to a hardshell RTT (autohome, CVT, etc) at some point down the road as funds allow. Or go to a teardrop (again - way down the road).
It'll be interesting to see how CCB likes it.
Unless the tent is water soaked.I had a previous mombasa RTT, and this really unfolds and puts away just like that did. Just on a larger scale. You can put up / take down the tent with 1 person, but it'd be a bear. With 2 people it's relatively easy.
Unless the tent is water soaked.
Or the wind is blowing 40 mph.
These tents make a lot of sense for where it never rains and the winds are moderate. Please post a video of some poor soul trying to stow the tent by himself in a rainstorm.....
My personal inclination is to have a camping solution that does not require me to swear or wait for the weather to improve before proceeding on my journey.

I already congratulated him on his cool trailer. I really like the engineering. I was just commenting that the videos showing how fast and easy it is to use a tent like this are misleading, and this type is not for me.Why do you have to crap all over his new camping trailer? Just be happy for the guy and let him enjoy it.
I had never heard of that brand, and I just spent 45 minutes reading their website. There is some simply brilliant engineering there. I can't believe the pivoting boat/ solar panel rack, plus the standard outboard motor mount:
And racks for NINE jerry cans!
Zowee! That is a fine trailer. I hope you will post more pics of it and of your adventures. The only downside I can see is that it will be a real SOB to clean after a muddy trip. Have you considered mudflaps for your Jeep?
I know we are all wondering..... can you please tell us what you paid?
