16 Years on ExPo. Whoa!!
It didn't occur to me until some of the discussion of Upstate New York and such in other threads, that I have a friend who not only built several of the most inspiring vehicles I've seen, but has also completed a few absolutely killer expeditions in his vintage Dodge Powerwagons...
I have lost many hours reading these projects and checking out these trips. I've even sent links to all sorts of friends and my family about a great possible trip to take. My dad lives in Montreal and has taken all sorts of trips through extreme rural Eastern Canada also checking out some of the hydroelectric stuff for various articles (he is a journalist) and we were both absolutetly thrilled at the writeup of the Labrador trip in particular.. Also I know a lot of you east coasters have serious wanderlust, just as I did when I lived there. This is an excellent solution to serious rural areas and terrain not too far from you!
First the buildup and vehicles. These are all Cummins 4BT powered (and Paul is a contributor to my forum, www.4btswaps.com )

And finally the trips:

Also make sure you check out the other links in the drop down menu at the top. Paul lives about 30-40 minutes from where I grew up in extremely rural and mountainous Upstate New York where he is a maple sugar farmer... His metal work (and sense of advbenture) are unbelievable!
