Transit?

Anyone have a build thread on the Ford Transit? Picking up new to me 2017 with a QuadVan 4x Conversion planned for July. Partial build already started(bed and bike storage). MaxFan installed and lighting.

I love my Quadvan and was just at the shop in Portland last week (since I was passing through got some minor work done).
Mine is a 2019 Ecoboost, short wheelbase low roof with a Sportsmobile Poptop.
I wheel the crap out of mine and it goes places people can never believe.

The Transit as been an easily platform with plenty of bits in the salvage yards if you need mess up something.

Factory 2WD with a Van Compass lift, Bilstein up front, Fox at the rear and Agile custom leaf springs instead of VC add a leaf.

For V2 we will get an AWD but to be honest, there are very few times we couldn’t get where we wanted to including some pretty gnarly Baja tracks or Titus Canyon in Death Valley.

The lift, KO2s and careful driving are key.

Getting my Quadvan conversion in May. Can't wait. As to the build, haven't really done it yet even though we have put 10k+ adventure miles on it since we got it 14 months ago. Not having the interior hasn't been limiting our fun but lack of 4WD has been. Once my wallet recovers from the Quadvan conversion we will get serious about the interior.
