The fool just overshot the jump. I could overshoot that jump on my motorcross quad with 1000.00 a piece shocks, and it would bottom out and hurt like hell as well. It would have looked smooth with a little less throttle up the jump.
OUCH! And that is what happens when people think a raptor is a full blown trophy truck. Its not.

A raptor is a very cool truck in all reality, its a (barely) "mid travel" truck, I think Ford did a very good job with it, but when you think its something its not, like the video above, they break.

I used to be wanting an old vehicle, 70's Ford F250 to be
exact...test drove a cherry one, it was perfect...needed nothing. I forgot how barbaric those things were, thought to myself I would be an idiot if I bought
this, all my yearnings for nostalgia went away after that test ride. Sure they are cool looking, and that is about it, nostalgia is best to be left in the past.

My grandfather always said: "The best thing about the good old days is that they're gone".

I watched the introduction at Chicago Auto Show (by video link). The 2015 TRD Pro package offers 2 inch longer springs, Bilstein shocks, a beefy skid plate, and special wheels and tires. This sounds just like the TRD T/X Baja package introduced for the Tacoma in 2012. The news is the availability of the TRD Pro equipment for Tundra and 4Runner.

No prices were announced. The TRD T/X Baja package added $4400 to the cost of the 4x4 Tacoma, so I expect a similar cost.

Basically, a nice upgrade added to Tundra and 4Runner.

Its a neat looking package, but basically it looks like a toytec suspension, and the rest is kinda fluff. But I bet they sell a ton of them, Toyota needed something to kind of refresh their truck models.

Does the TRD Pro 4runner have KDSS and rear locker like the trail or does this trim fall below the trail?

Useful upgrades are a real front skid plate, upgraded shocks, and 265/75/16 BFG ATs (appearantly just for the Taco). Not an EPIC fail, but my expectations were pretty low to begin with. I'm sure Mr. T will sell everyone they make. That's what happens when you always shoot for the middle.

How lame of Toyota to dangle this in front of everyone and then all they did was basically put in some shocks and black rims…Still not a Raptor.

Seems like a nice package to me. Decent turn key mild upgrade performance over stock. Not Earth shattering...still nice none-the-less.

Doe seems odd they didn't include the FJ tho'...
