Well with the lockdown I've finally edited our biggest trip. We shipped our 4wd's from Melbourne to Vladivostok and spent 2 years driving across to Scotland.

Excellent, thank you, that would be great.

Seem to be a few Antipodeans I've met travelling in this style.

Last time we travelled, we met a retired couple of Kiwis that had just completed a trip from NZ via Mongolia, Russia etc.

We met them in Iceland while they were making the most of it, travelling around Europe.

I saw their Nissan Pathfinder in a car park and was looking at their registration wondering where it came from - was I surprised!

Have reached the Anatonia region in eastern Turkey, It's certainly an area that few go to. We meet a few of the locals and their simple way of life.
This episode is what expedition travel is all about, IMO.
