The opening to the Fastpack opening is a little small for me. I went with Mystery Ranch, which makes the Fastpack for TAD.

Good to know they are well received. Ironically, five minutes before opening this thread, I was talking to the gf about getting some new gear for work and mentioned heading down to TAD since I am local.

After seeing the vintage Yota in their store, I am even more excited to check them out. :ylsmoke: I do not mind paying more for products that I know are going to last and are built from the ground up for my line of work. Now, if they only could give a discount to OJ subscribers/ExPo members....:coffee:

I am still loving the Overlander shirt, which dresses up and down nicely. Only complaint has been the sleeves, which would not roll-up over my forearms - that has since been resolved according to TAD (good news).

I have two of the overland shirts and they will not roll up past my elbows either. And I am a small guy at 5' 10", 145 pounds. This is a serious flaw in an otherwise fantastic shirt, especially considering the shirt is specifically designed to have the sleeves rolled up. Nice to hear that the issue has been corrected but I am not exactly happy to spend another $200 to get ones that function as advertised.

When did they fix this? I received one for Christmas and cannot even begin to get the sleeves past my forearms.

Are the ones that are on sale now versions of the small or large sleeves?

I am hesitant to purchase either the overland or work shirt in fear of these small arms. It makes it rather constrictive even when the sleeves are down.

Since we are on the subject of the overland shirt, I have to say that although the inside hem pocket is nice in theory, in practice, it does not help the comfort of the shirt nor do I think I will end up using it. While hanging it seems to add too much stiffness and when tucked it just adds too much bulk.

Hey! Just saw this thread. I dig most all of TAD's stuff! Word of caution, don't buy any of the wool stuff unless you want another addiction. I wear my Praetorian hoodies and SS Sweaters throughout the winter here in the southwest.

Often when a company makes a product and advertises a specific feature and it turns out that feature does not work, the company initiates a trade in program or heavily subsidizes a replacement. An example of this would be a car manufacturer offering power windows and it turns out they don't roll down. In this case it was advertised with roll up sleeves and only a Halloween skeleton figure could actually wear it with the sleeves rolled up.
