Nope - works fine.
There's also a switch panel available from the sPod guys http://www.4x4s-pod.com/ that mounts above the rearview mirror. I have a Tuffy overhead console, so went with the CoolTech panel instead.

i had a daystar panel for my arb switches - didn't work - at least not when the lockers were on. the shifter always turned them off again

I ran some air brake line under the truck, then up behind the taillight, and out again behind the license plate. It runs up the rear roof rack support, along with some wiring for the 3rd brake light and backup lights.

I was a little apprehensive about the OME X-HD coils, but it turned out GREAT! The pre-coil swap height of the hitch (for reference) was 19 1/4" and 21 1/8" after the swap. So I gained almost 2"! I figure it'll settle some, but I've very happy. I'll have to take pics.
BTW, I also installed some JKS rear axle spring mounts. It helped that the OME coils are thinner -- the FT coils might have rubbed the gas tank after I'd realigned the spring mounts... The downside is I couldn't re-use my air bags - too wide for the OME coils. I'll have to find some thinner ones...
As for the batteries... My alarm system has been going off on it's own recently -- something I have to check today -- and since my Hella horns take so much juice, I've noticed my starter battery went down under 12v recently. I was quite pleased to know that I had my second battery for a boost if ever the alarm _realy_ went nuts and drained my starter battery...
In the long term, I plan on adding some solar panels to the roof rack...

Yep, the coils are narrower than the FT ones for sure... sorry I actually meant to mention that. I am running the OME coils with some Air Lift bags that I pillaged from a junkyard Ford Aerostar, probably early 90's vintage, but I'm not 100% sure of the year. Might want to check on bags for that vehicle as they're a good fit for the thinner coils. Or you could do it the old fashioned way and actually measure :sombrero:
My factory battery was on its last legs having been completely drained on two occasions, and yesterday I had the doors open and stereo on to supply music for a BBQ for a few hours, and when I came back it was showing 10 Volts :Wow1: -- needless to say, I had to jump it.
This morning I dropped the cash for a pair of nice AGM starting/deep cycle batts and I'm thinking of doing one of the side-by-side engine compartment trays to accommodate them. It hurts to spend so much just for backup power, but since I'm often on trips alone and I want to run a fridge at some point, it seems well worth it.

I added three Engel SlideLoks to the rear platform. Here's the Jeep packed for a trail yesterday -- you can see the three Zarges boxes locked onto the platform behind the net (aka "pet barrier")...
I'll have to get a pic of the platform without the Zarges cases. I just screwed in the SlideLoks for now, in case I need to adjust their placement. Later I'll bolt them through the platform properly. I have to remove the platform anyway to finish the brake-controller wiring. I'll take a picture of my subwoofer too. I built a small subwoofer box that fits under the platform on the passenger side. Here's a picture of it under construction:

A few pics from yesterday's trail...
This section is called "the stairs" -- one of two difficult spots along this trail...
I took out the Pullpal to get the first guy up...
We also used our waffleboards extensively, and everyone ended up winching...
There were "a few" mosquitos... :-D
This is the second tough little bit called "the S"...
If it wasn't for that really sticky/sandy mud clogging our tires, those sections would have been a lot easier. It's the mix of wet mud & big rocks that's a difficult combo. I'm still running some 33" Toyo MTs, but I'm looking forward to my new set of 35" Interco LTBs on Champion beadlocks. I'll be able to run them much lower -- I have to keep the Toyos in the 14+ psi range, or risk splitting the sidewall, like I did on one tire last year. 10ply radial sidewalls just don't like to flex all day at really low pressures...
