Read through most of this thread and was originally in the market for an ARB50. After some changes in our plan I'm looking to place a slightly smaller fridge in my truck toolbox for security, stealth, and everyday carry. I'll be more likely to use it if I have it everyday. I have 18" of height to work with before hitting the tool box lid so that has somewhat limited the size I can get. This would be for a family of 4 and we typically are out for an average weekend or extended weekend. Restocking every few days isn't an issue. Worst case is we haul drinks and wet stuff in a standard cooler and only carry perishables in the fridge.
So it seems (please clarify if this is not the case) that the Indel B, Truck Fridge, and Waeco/Dometic fridges are all the same? Each seems to have a slightly different part number and very slight differences in dimensions. I figure some measure in Liters and some in Quarts depending on which market they're aiming for.
Indel B = 40L ~17.5" tall
Truck Fridge =TF-41 states 17" tall
Waeco/Dometic = CF40 ~17.5" tall
Oddly the Ironman 40 has a height of ~19.25"
They're all about the same price too depending on where you purchase.
