I'm pretty pleased with my Moog 880 coils and Bilsteins. Happy combo.
I added a Monroe steering stabilizer too, it was a huge improvement...

Love it. North GA must not be too far from UJoint, you should swing by.

Thank you! Actually drove right by there a couple times going to Expo at Taylors Ranch but I hadn't bought the van yet.

Honestly very afraid to see all of the 4x4 vans. Might be tempted to pull out the credit card!

My only complaint is that the 880 coils didn't lift the front like I thought they would. Rear still sits a little *** high.

I will look at the steering stabilizer. Just look it up my van model or is there a certain one you recommend?

I think there's pretty much just one universal fit. It's made by Monroe.
There's several other kits on the market from junk to excellent. Monroe does the job at a fair price so I bought it.
My only advice is to make sure it mounts one end to the frame rail.

I have finished up most of the construction of the interior. Just have to finish some cabinet doors then stain and poly everything before securing it down.

Threw everything together real quick for a last minute camping trip this weekend.

Backed down into a campsite for a break and then had a helluva a time getting out. This one wheel drive stuff sucks! Took lots of throttle and careful line choice to make it out. Looks like some maxx traxs are in order.

At least it looks the part a little more...

Checked the air pressure and Discount Tire had put 65psi in them. That explains the rough ride and hopefully the lack of traction off road.

Dropped them to 50psi and will see how it goes.

Nice van. I just put 880 springs on also, on my EB they put it perfectly level.
How are you liking the 235/85's? Time for new tires and looking at that size.

I think mine is kinda high due to no weight in the back yet. Loaded down for camping the other night it seemed to level out.

Tires are a lot better after letting 15psi out of each. No howl and do not change the feel of the van. They definitely make it look better!

Got top and bottom hoops bent up for the roof rack. Made out of 1" steel tubing. 081 or 0.83 wall; whichever it is.

It is gonna be 5x10 and hold a solar panel, Rotopax, and roof trunk storage thingy. Hopefully have room to hang out on top some too.

Need ideas for flooring. Leaning towards expanded mesh stretched right with a come along. Thought about cedar planks or metal slats. Ideas?

The expanded mesh I've seen/used stretches between supports after use. Starts to sag even when stitch welded, I think you'd have to support it every 8-12" with a crossbar. I like the wooden slats idea, ran front to back like some older VW racks. Might be worth it to run the math and figure out which would weigh less.

Yeah, that's what I heard too. Someone recommended stretching it before welding and it would help.

Really preferred wood slats for the look and support but really haven't seen it used much in modern roof racks. Might have to go out on a limb and try it.

Steel slats would be too heavy and aluminum would be heavy and half to riveted or bolted down.
