This might sound like a bit of a strange question, but I was wondering for those that own a Tundra or T-100 how the spacce in the extra cab would accomodate two large dogs (65lb and 85lb labs). My wife and I take long road trips every summer and always take the dogs along.
I currently have a 1997 Land Cruiser - which is more than up to the task, but that more than likely will end up being my wife's as she is in love with it. I like the idea of being able to store all of our gear in the back of the truck under a cover or topper and having the dogs stay with us in the cab. I would love a double cab Taco, but for the price that I have to spend they are a bit out of my range. I figure I can pick up a Tundra or T-100 with 90 - 120k miles in the $12 - 13k range, which IMO is still a baby in Toyota standards. Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated.
On a side note I actually brought my dogs to a local dealer and asked if I could have them jump in the back for a fit test. Needless to say they didn't accomodate.![Stick out tongue :p :p](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
