Here is another picture of my first gen and my ( work in progress) off road camper. I had just swapped out the trailer axle for a lighter one and put taco 16in trd wheels and 33in tires.

@Jonesw3, that is one SICK SET-UP!! I tried for about a year to do a similar trailer but funds kept rushing out the door on other priorities. Kudos on a job well done!

@TheBullfrog125, truly a nice package on your T100 , sir!

@bimmeryota, haha- love that enthusiasm, man. "Long live the T!" And I couldn't agree more.

I've been a lurker for years on this site and am glad to have found some love for the T here. I had one years back that I gave to my father in law with 267k miles on it, after my wife kindly pointed out that we had 4 vehicles with only two adults (so I like cars, can you fault a guy?!?). Anyhow, missed the T100 so much, went out and found another (2WD) just last June, and have been cleaning it up since. Removed the old camper, replaced the stock 15's with some Tacoma 16's in BFG's, and spent the almost the whole year restoring the paint luster and eliminating the interior's smoke stench from the prior owner. It's my DD, now at about 180k, but getting ready to make it camping worthy. I don't mud or hit hard trails- more of a hunter, fisherman, kayaker, so 4WD is not as needed (though I'd jump on one for a good price). :agree: Anyhow, here is the "as purchased" and the "now":

Low lying bushes are already nearing their peak color change on some local trails here in Eagle, CO.

Thanks. Unfortunately I sold it not longer after I posted that picture. We were buying a new house and I needed to free up some cash.

On the plus side, I've spent the last few months building a teardrop type trailer. I like it much more than they Military trailer setup.

Upgraded from a 2003 Tacoma AC 4X4 TRD to a 2003 Tundra AC 4x4 Terminator 3 Edition. Showings pics of both with their campers.

Tacoma carried a 1992 Northern Lite 6' 10" import camper.
Tundra carries a 2009 Travel Lite 690FD import camper, though we are thinking of upgrading...

Awesome to see a step side Tacoma! I had the same exact truck until we had kids and needed more real estate behind the seats. I had 33 km2s on mine. We had to get creative putting the snowmobile in the back there wasn't much room width wise!
