2003 AC T3 with a Bigfoot 6'11" camper. Here's a couple poser shots from Joshua Tree right before a storm hit. Also a couple pics inside the palace.

Awesome Trucks! Here's my old T100 in Mexico. Needed something bigger

Here's the replacement. First time using a truck in California off road. Super fun, much different than Michigan. We made it into an amazing range in Socal for a day trip.

Just picked up this beauty. Really happy with it. Can't wait to dig in to figure out it's issues. She's high mileage at 178,000, but in great shape, so even if it needs a motor (or timing belt replaced), it'll serve me well for years to come. I don't have much service history on it, so most stuff will be a guessing game. I'm hoping CarFax or the dealer can dig up some service history.

Just bought this guy a couple weeks ago. First on the agenda is maintenance stuff - pinion seal, weld the firewall at the clutch pedal bracket, seal the leaks in the topper, that sort of stuff. I already put in marlin crawler shift bushings, and that made a huge difference.

The frame has some rust in the back half, so I'll address that this summer. And the truck came with a spare front drive train and suspension. Everything seems to work pretty well, but I'll swap in the control arms and maybe the torsion bars because the spares are in better shape. Might do a build thread once I get rolling, but I'm terrible at remembering to take pictures. I've been without a truck for a few years, so I'm pretty excited to have one again.

I have put over 10K miles on it since December in 7 states. Just got an old 90s ES300 to DD so I can keep the daily work miles off the Gravy Boat and only use her for trips. I am coming from a 2007 Tacoma and am happy with the choice overall. It came down to this, a first gen taco double cab, or a 100 series cruiser. In the end the bed size won out. The thing handles light wheeling surprisingly well. Sliders and a rear bumper are a must though, as I found out with some body damage. It kinda sucks not having cheap available parts like a Taco does, tho. For example I'll have like 2.5 times more $ in my rear leafs as I did the Taco when I order them. If I had a taco I'd just drop $375 on some Dakars.

Sorry for the overload but I'm not doing a specific thread for this truck because I am keeping it fairly simple. No dual batteries, fridges, winches, crazy electrical, remote resis, etc. Got led AA stick on LED lights, a Yeti i got for free that lasts over a week with dry ice and block ice combined, a truck stop fan that runs on D batteries. I do weekend trips and two 9-day trips a year and that stuff works fine for what I do. Just upgrading what I think I really need to upgrade.
