Yeah, I would certainly be proud to own that unit.

I looks like a real labor of love, with excellent attention to detail. Every few years I get the Rover bug again. It would be fun to build a RR classic or D1 for the trail in near stock configuration (just do the camel mods). They always shock the hell out of people where they will go stock.

But you need to find one with meticulous maintenance records so that you can baseline its condition.

DAmn I was hoping to score some pics of the trailer setup he had. I remember the truck and trailer combo but never saved the pics to the HD like I planned to. I can't even figure out who the seller was by the link so that I could email them for pics.

Wow, she's a beaut!

On a slightly unrelated note, has anyone else seen later disco's with a camel-esque decal/wheel/roof rack appearance package? I've seen two lately around home and college, look pretty cool but very mall-crawler-ish since both the ones I saw appeared to be soccer-mom driven.
