Maybe.... Who knows! I was out that way Friday in V5, may have been me.
Did you put church markings on V5?

I have to admit that Dereks customer service over at CCV is very poor...I have tried to get in touch with him many times leaving voice mail after voice mail and no response, that being said I have been very happy with my top it has worked flawlessly. I don't think I would have had them do any suspension work/4wd conversion. I'm sure its very hard for any independent 4wd conversion company to match Ujoints work ethic and customer service. With all that I have read on this forum in regards to Ujoint they must be damn good....just wish I lived closer.

Nope! Must not have been me.
Thats what I am, an independent shop. 3 of us building vans! I just put in a lot of hours
We do vans from all over the country, even as far away as you are. Or we just ship a kit, I've sent them as far as Alaska, China, Puerto Rico, you get the idea. We should have a van coming from WA state this week, waiting for final word.
Chris, have you ever considered teaming up with somebody like STS to develop a turbo for the 5.4 vans? I would love to see a system similar to the STS/TeraFlex Turbo used on the Jeep Wrangler. With so many 5.4 vans available, something like a rear mounted turbo would help give it more power without hurting drivability or freeway mileage. What are your thoughts?
FWIW, my experience with Chris and U Joint was really positive. I probably owe Chris a post on superior customer service as well as some pictures, but life and work is fully pinned at the moment and I haven't gotten around to it.
Chris has gone above and beyond in terms of making sure things work just like I want them and also in sourcing parts from WARN that failed on me. Shipped new hubs right to my door.
I live in Colorado. I did my first 4x4 swap by myself and made it work. But I wanted a bit more out of it and without the time to make it happen for myself, I DROVE to North Carolina to have them do the work I wanted done. The drive sucked. But it was worth it
I recommend Chris and team whenever I can to people interested in the van; whether it be for parts or actual labor. Also, the van is awesome by the way. And Chris, it's working really well. I owe you some pictures for sure.
Nice! That van gets around, what a life its had!
