Chris, did you ever get details out for the necessary 5.4L mods? Did I miss it? I know you're busy.

I guess there is nothing special on 5.4.
Check the tranny mods depending on yours on his side ( 4r100 vs 5r100) . The 6.0 needs mods for the oil filter, that's it.

Yes, there are exhaust mods for all gas conversions, 5.4's & V10's. The 5.4's all have the 4R70 or 4R75 transmission and the parts needed to make them 4wd can be a bit more $$ and harder to find but its not impossible. I've got some 5.4 stuff in the works soon.

As you can see I don't post a lot but I have spent a lot of time here and learned a ton. I plan to do a brief build thread just to give back a little. I read through all of bknudtsen's "VANdiana Jones" thread and he did such a great job with his step by step build I don't think there is much I can add. I pretty much rebuilt my front axle by following his posts. I know how much I love all the pictures so I'll be sure to at least post pics.

i had a cutaway but always wanted one with the pass forward side door intact and walled after that for a "crewvan"

I got some h1 beadlocks. They are heavy but seem to be working out.
