Brad,

That is the nicest looking van I've seen, you must be excited. I hope you start a thread here so we can see how it turns out.

Thanks ober. I'm not really sure what kind of thread to start. Chris did all the suspension work! The only thing I get to do is the small stuff. :)

A list of specs would be cool. Did you buy it already converted or did you have SMB do the work? What floorplan is it? Can we see the inside? :wings:

It was a 2wd SMB, local to me. When we did the engine work a few years ago I really wanted to convert it! The owner had no interest so I'm glad that we eventually got to maximize its potential.

What Chris said. I've owned it since January but I haven't actually seen it yet. That's why it's hard to start a thread. Lol!
"Here's my van. Don't ask any questions because I don't know". Ha! Well, I guess I could offer up what I do know about it. As far as the U-Joint conversion, Chris would have to spill the specs. I'm familiar with Chris's old Vanaconda and I knew the quality of the parts and conversion so I had him do the work before sending it to SoCal.

We did a complete 6" swap with progressive springs, front D60 w/ARB air locker & the RSC upgrade, Sterling 10.5 rear with another ARB, NV271 t-case, shortened fuel tank and all of the standard parts that we out on every swap. The tires are Maxxis Bravo 315/70/17 and wheels are from Center Line. Brad may know the exact model.

I know what the secret behind V6 is. It will be the first in a fleet of converted vans available for weekend rentals and local excursions. (Fingers crossed). :)

Brad, forgive me for asking (and maybe a search here would reveal the result) but are you the same Brad Kilby of Jeep fame? I just ask as a former SoCal resident and rock crawler. Thanks. That's all :coffeedrink:

Not a huge secret, just taking it to the next level as far as attention to detail & design.

From the work I have seen posted on this forum I wonder if there is a "next level" left for you to obtain. Keep raising the bar and thank you for letting us follow along.
