UJOR Build Thread

+2 on the Pioneer, I just recently upgraded from a single DIN Pioneer to the AVH-X5600BHS double DIN and I love it. It sounds great, easy install, easy to operate, added SiriusXM module any trouble. Could add a backup camera when ready.

I'm sure it has already been covered, but what does the overall height end up being on a setup like this?

I know you say that a 6" lift is good for 35" tires and an 8" is necessary for 37s. What is the limiting factor for fitting 37" on a 6"? Do you have to clearance into the cab area to fit them?

I am starting to figure out our 2015 project/promo/lead truck and I think a van like this is the next logical step (with pop-top).

Just under 8' overall height. You can jump tire size with fender trimming at the back side of the front fenders. Not a simple trim, needs to be done nicely. That will allow a 37 on the 6" lift. I did this on Vanaconda and V4.

Love this thread... Now i'm saving for a van, no joke. Keep up the great work Chris. I can't wait to join the brotherhood! Any suggestions for helping get the wife on board?

It's easier to get forgiveness than it is to get permission. But it must not be abused or it will lose its effectiveness.

This thing looks HUGE. how long/ tall/ wide is this bus?
I would imagine the turning cycle can be an issue in smaller towns, right?

Uh, pretty big!

Sweet! Get her behind the wheel of one, that will help!

She really needs to drive one to know just how amazing these UJOR vans are. The women see a jacked up van and think "Ugh" but once they ride/drive it, then they will appreciate it. How it went down for me and my GF.

Exactly. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I have to keep the keys away from my wife. She tries to take V5 all the time.

Is trimming required on the lower bumper plastic even with the 265's? (assuming that's why it's off)

What rear blocks on this one?

This van came in w/o the trim so it wasn't an issue. If the plastic was there then it would need a bit of trimming to clear. 3" blocks on this one.
