Nice quiet day at the shop today, no time for holidays when we have deadlines! Made progress on the silver V10 and tomorrow will be a mega day to get almost everything done. Has to leave Friday!

V7 touched down for the 1st time, I'm in love! Everything looks perfect, I've been dying to get this rig in the air since I got it in Jan or Feb.... can't remember. 6" on 35's, will be the shop demo rig and we'll have it at the Overland Expo next month. Its also our roof rack model.

Quick specs: 05 E350 V10 Chateau (ad was posted here on expo!) just under 15k miles, 6" lift front, 4" rear, 35" Toyo RTs on American Racing wheels, single Fox 2.0's, ARB rear locker, axle specs are a page or two back.

V7 looks great! Just wondering, is it common to do a 6" in the front and 4" in the back? What's the reasoning for this? If you have a chance, some more pics of the roof rack would be sweet!

I did 4 in the back because thats how I like them. All personal preference.

Here's a good view of a bare rack.

We opened a rather large can of the ol Whoop a*& oaths van today! Clock is ticking and it still needs exhaust and alignment. Everything is done but the nerf bars and some wiring!

Damn!! You guys really are in a hurry...

Chris- "Sweep that damn floor, jump on the go kart, and throw that dirt in the dumpster!"

Dude better shave that beard like a Olympic swimmer if he wants to cut his relay time down...

Exactly! We've got 2 karts now, double the injuries. The 1st one is pretty sketchy, 2nd has no floor as of now. We cut them both in half within the 1st hour of ownership to stretch for the big guys!

Do you have a pic of v7 from the side? I'm interested to see what this 6"/4" combo looks like...

Not yet but I will soon. We've got it torn back down today to finish up the rear axle. Then exhaust, shafts should be here soon. Hope to be driving by the end of the week.

Thanks, have to stay clean!Nothing worse than a cluttered messy shop. Drives me nuts.

V7 is running the fat boy Hellwig sway bar for an Excursion, excited to see how it handles. Working on some new sway bar disconnects too.

That Hellwig brings back a few memories! Still have mine, but didn't remount it after you did my conversion. It WILL tighten up your handling, but I thought it made it almost a little TOO whippy. Dont feel like I need it now that you got the front end under control for me.

It was on the rear, right? I hate rear sway bars!

Yeah, I kind of got that from their general "presentation". . . and wouldn't the dual meaning acronym they chose for a name be a CLUE?? ( Not Professional).

There are very few shops that I like to do business with. They already think they know how to do everything, lack communication skills and try to cut corners/save $$. I don't remember the specifics but I had communicated with one guy there and they needed help on something so I told them what to do and then heard nothing back. Assumed everything was ok until I got a phone call from the owner who was all worked up and mad, immediately threatened to do a chargeback for the entire sale!

Then to make things worse a vendor of mine accidentally shipped them several thousand dollars worth of parts. In most cases the person or shop would call me or the vendor to ask why they received the stuff. Not these guys, they kept the parts and wouldn't answer phone calls/emails. I don't think the vendor ever got the merchandise back, complete loss.

Lots of action at the shop!

Working on a new sPOD mount. Very hard as you know to find room under the hood for anything. We've mounted them all over but I hope this mount will cover 80% of vans.

Super excited to mix it up a bit with this lighting setup on V7.
